USU. Davis 304. Freshman year.

I hate saying goodbye to people. HATE it. At least saying "see ya later!" is a little easier...
I absolutely LOVED my freshman year at USU. It was definitely the place for me to be. My roommates were fantastic and I am lucky to get to live with them next year! I love you girls! There were some pretty awesome people who lived in Davis that I loved getting to know. My only regret is waiting so long before actually meeting them, because from the time we met them until the end of the year I made so many memories (boys across the hall!...) There were so many guys I met and became good friends with who I am sad that I won't see them much anymore because of missions, but I am honestly so excited for them and the opportunities they will have! I will miss just being able to go out into the lounge and watch the country music channel, talking to the boys on 2nd floor, hanging out with 4th floor boys, coming out of the shower and never knowing who just might be sitting in my room, late night talks in the lounge, and always knowing that there was someone to hang out with and talk to in our building.
I know that people are put into our lives for a reason, and we are put into other peoples lives to help them. Life really does get better after high school! haha....
Thank you to each person I met who made my year a little better!
Thank you USU for giving me the best freshman year I could ask for!
And to all my friends....see ya later!

Freshman year just wouldn't have been the same without....

.....some things such as the traveling hairball. A sink full of dishes. Me and brit promising each other almost every day we would clean up our room so it didn't look like a bomb went off. Going out to watch a movie but finding the same people who had been playing call of duty for the past 5 hours were still there. Opening up the fridge to find a container of who-knows-what had once again migrated onto my shelf in the fridge. Hearing Kaits rap music blasting from the room next door, and Lenka blaring loudly from the boys across the hall. Giving Brit liposuction with the vacuum. And many more things......

225 days until Christmas....

Some people celebrate the 12 days of Christmas. In Davis 304 we extended that....well, at least our tree has been up since then, along with lights hanging in the hallway. Sadly, it was time to move out and we had to get rid of the tree. With no one to take it home and no where to put it except DI, we decided to spread some holiday cheer by planting it in the volleyball court outside. It was one of those things where other people saw it and thought "if only I was smart enough to think of that...." :)

Canoeing adventure:)

Last day of finals, no more work, and sunny outside. So what do we do? Go rent a canoe!

Josh Wright

What a stud...
A few weeks ago me and Britney went to a piano concert by Josh Wright at Temple Square. Lets just say, I'M IN LOVE. Oh boy. What a man. We almost the only people there under the age of 65 (haha)....but he was amazing! I'm glad someone else is a piano nerds who could really enjoy and appreciate it:) He played a variety of songs, which included some arrangements of woven in with classical pieces. After the concert he was at Deseret Book for a signing, so of course we had to go meet him! Listen to him and you will fall in love....
