We like to watch sunsets. Even on the top of roofs.

In Logan, cleaning the sink is actually fun. Who wouldn't love to consume a ridiculously large/unhealthy amount of ice cream covered in reeses and bananas and whipcream?

Oh my goodness...who knew roller skating was so fun. It was proven that no boys are needed to have a rip-roarin good time.

Model shots for sure. No wonder so many people want to hang out with us on a Friday night....

roomies

I have heard plenty of roommate horror stories. In fact, moving away to college had the potential to be a complete disaster, especially having never lived with girls.
But, after two years, I've realized living with girls is ok. And actually fun.

I have been super lucky to be blessed with such great roommates. Not only will they eat food with me at one in the morning, blast country tunes, not judge when we act like 12 year old boys, and eat ridiculous amounts of frozen yogurt, they are fantastic examples.

I find them reading their scriptures eating breakfast, writing in their journals at night, wanting to go sing to old people. Yep, the kind of girls I want to be like. The people you surround yourself with definitely influence who you will become. Sounds cliche, but these girls are beautiful inside and out!
So thank you:)

There's some things are just too great to forget. Things about college and life as a 20 year old.
Actually, they aren't that funny now, but I have a feeling that in 20 years I will laugh just thinking about them. For example....

The joys of cold showers. I'm paying hundreds of dollars a month, is a hot shower too much to ask for?! And that's the excuse for having hairy legs.

Speaking of bathrooms...creating a homemade sauna by turning the shower on as hot as it will go (of course there's no shortage of hot water at night...) shutting the door, turning off the light/fan, and sitting there on the toilet to bask in the warmness. It's like being at one of those naked-people saunas in europe, except in the comfort of your own apartment.

Looking on the shelf in the fridge and having nothing to eat. And then cleaning it out, including all 7 tupperware containers of two week old rice and soup and questionable looking who-knows-what casserole, and realizing there is literally NOTHING to eat, except a half can of refried beans and an egg. No joke.

Finding hair everywhere. Like sitting in institute, opening up my scriptures, and finding hairballs between the pages.

Having the majority of my wardrobe consist of sweats and t-shirts. They come in every color and variety I could ever need.

Our apartment decor...christmas lights strung from the ceiling, tissue paper art on the wall, pizza pie cafe coupon poster tacked on the wall....haha a little white trash looking...

The lack of basic supplies such as toilet paper. And paper towels. And garbage bags. Sometimes we have to decide between a sanitary apartment or saving a buck or two. Good thing we have so many walmart grocery bags, and that we live in America where you can use public bathrooms and toilet paper for free.

Knowing exactly how many pairs of underwear you have left and calculating when you will do laundry around that.

A twizzleberry addiction. Frozen yogurt once or twize a week isn't too much, right?

I need that cheesecake.... yummy crust, cakebatter cheesecake, cakebatter cookie dough layer, fudge sauce, and whipcream. Why have I had to wait 20 years to be introduced to this?!
And that yellow and gray bed...yes please!
Those balloons filled with paint...hello summer!
Thank you pinterest:)

Facebook reminds me how grateful I am to be out of high school. I can hardly believe it's been two years already...
I absolutely loved it! But definitely one of those things you never want to go back to.
Sometimes I wish I could tell all those people that life will go on. That there's more to life than where you decide to go for lunch, who's going to the dance with who, the fact that that certain someone never texted you...and on and on. That outfit that you spent an hour picking out and crying over, will not in fact be noticed by every person. It's alright if you are not the center of every conversation and social activity.
College and living on your own definitely gives a new perspective. Priorities are different, people change, and you just have to make decisions and live your life.
After saying all this, I'm sure someone 20 years older is thinking the exact same thing about me....don't worry about such dumb things, life goes on. :)

Sometimes....

Sometimes a girl just needs to eat a big bowl of ice cream
Sometimes she needs to waste an hour on Pinterest doing nothing but drooling over all the food she wished was in her stomach right then.
Sometimes she needs to go to the gym and run and run and run while blasting the same song over and over on the ipod.
Sometimes she just needs to crawl into bed, clothes on and all, and take a little nap.
Sometimes she just needs to turn the shower on hot full blast and turn the bathroom into a sauna, and then sit there.
Sometimes she needs to shut her mouth and stop complaining.
Sometimes she needs to be able to go just a day without listening to other peoples drama.
Sometimes she needs to sit down and start writing one of the million papers due, instead of just talk about it.
Sometimes she needs to just sit and read her scriptures.
Sometimes she needs someone else to be the one to give her a smile.
Sometimes she needs a warm sunny day to sit outside on the grass and get fried.
Sometimes she just needs the little reassurance that everything will be ok.
Sometimes she needs a perspective that life goes on and to get over dumb things.
:)
